Large antique Provencal terracotta bowl, basin or "Jatte" as they are known in France

The rim is hand decorated with yellow ocher.

The exterior remains natural and unfinished.

The bowl has a wonderful old patina, showing character and age.

This antique French bowl would make a lovely decorative object, perhaps adorning a kitchen island or tabletop as a vessel for holding fresh fruit or vegetables from the garden.

This really is a beautiful rustic old piece

The bowl shows lots of signs of use. Scratches to the inside of the bowl. Aged patina inside and out. One chip on the underside of the rim.
